Job Description
As a Medical Assistant at Boulder Valley Asthma and Allergy (BVAA) you will be responsible for providing medical support to ensure efficient operation of the practice. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The expectation is to complete all activities accurately, professionally, with high quality, and in a timely manner. BVAA encourages all staff to be COVID vaccinated and offers an incentive to those that have received two vaccine doses.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completed an Accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Proven work experience as a medical assistant with long periods of time at each position
- Knowledge with EMR systems
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work at any of our 8 office locations (training will occur at a variety of office locations)
- Available to work Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts, and one Saturday 4 hour shift per month
- Reliable transportation
