PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
We are excited to begin resuming normal hours at BVAA/DAA Clinics. Starting Monday May 4, 2020, all offices will open. Our Southeast office is permanently closed effective immediately.
If you are on immunotherapy (allergy) injections, your extracts will be returned to their prior location on May 4th. The Southeast office extracts will be transferred to our Central office located at 1660 S Albion St Suite 907 Denver CO 80222, near Colorado Blvd and I-25, which should be more convenient for you. Wednesday hours will be added to the Central office for both appointments with Dr. Paul Schkade and allergy injections. Shot/office hours are listed on this website. Please let us know if you want your immunotherapy (allergy) extracts sent to a different location.
Scheduling for office appointments will be modified to lessen risk of COVID-19 transmission. If you are an existing patient and are due for a routine follow-up appointment with your physician, we encourage you to consider using our Telehealth option.
If you need acute care for exacerbation of allergies, asthma, hives etc., our staff will triage your problem and consult with your physician. We will determine best option for your care which could include scheduling appointment in the office, scheduling telehealth appointment or going to urgent care. We will be screening all patients’/caregivers’ temperatures upon arrival and if there is any fever you will be directed to an urgent care clinic for evaluation. Please do not come to our office if you have or think you have a fever or other signs of COVID-19. We do not have in-office testing for COVID-19.
New patients will be scheduled for in-office appointments and we will resume skin testing appointments.
We are still concerned about the risk of COVID-19 transmission when doing spirometry (“breathing tests”) and are currently not offering them. Hopefully, this important means of monitoring and diagnosing asthma will be available soon as the risk diminishes.
We are still requiring face masks or other acceptable coverage of mouth and nose for anyone entering our offices. We ask that you respect this request for the safety of other patients and staff. We will continue to support public health initiatives to continue slowing the spread of COVID-19.
We are trying to minimize the number of visitors to our office, so we ask that you come for shots and appointments unaccompanied or with one caregiver/parent.
We are starting a new automated wait list for shot patients to streamline patient flow in the office. This should lessen wait times you have incurred for getting allergy injections.
You will be able to add your name to the wait list using the links below. Each office has a unique waiting list. When space is available, you will be notified via text and/or email based on how you sign-in to come up to the office.
If you prefer, you can still call our main number, (303) 234-1067 Option 1 and we will put you on the waiting list and call you when it is your turn.
